David ——2025-12-22

On December 25, 2025, the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony of Heshan Wandechang Robot Co., Ltd. (Greater Bay Area Manufacturing Center) — core production hub of Shenzhen Wandechang Innovative Intelligence Co., Ltd. — was successfully held in Heshan, Jiangmen. Key government officials from Heshan, leaders of Wandechang and Taren Robot, industry experts, partners, and mainstream media gathered to witness this milestone of smart elderly care and intelligent manufacturing integration.

Government-Enterprise Synergy: Forging an Industry Hub

The ceremony proceeded in a solemn and enthusiastic atmosphere. The host emphasized that the center’s rapid completion relied on Heshan Municipal Government’s efficient support, strategic cooperation between Wandechang and Taren Robot, and constructors’ efforts. As a highlight of the "Shenzhen R&D + Jiangmen Manufacturing" cross-city collaboration in the Greater Bay Area, the base exemplifies government-enterprise win-win and fuels regional smart elderly care upgrading.

Zhang Huan, Deputy Secretary of the Heshan Municipal Party Committee, noted Heshan’s commitment to a world-class "pro-business, safe-business, prosperous-business" environment. He praised Wandechang’s technological strength and anticipated the base would become a flagship of Heshan’s intelligent manufacturing, boosting economic development and elderly care system optimization.

Cutting-Edge Strength: Leading the Sector

With 14 years in intelligent robotics, Wandechang has adhered to the mission "Technology Enriches Human Life" since 2011. A national high-tech enterprise and 2025 national-level "Little Giant" enterprise (recognized for innovation and industrial value), its R&D team is led by global experts including Academician Yu Ming (Canadian Academy of Engineering) and Academician Han Zhangxiu (Korean National Academy of Engineering). Collaborating with top institutions, the company holds over 120 patents, leads 3 national standards, and achieves 14-day rapid prototyping and 32-day average delivery — serving global leaders like Huawei, Toyota, and Kyocera.

The Heshan base, with a 40 million yuan (≈5.5 million US dollars) investment and 3,000㎡ area, sits in Jiangmen’s Yinhuwan Silver Economy Industrial Belt. Equipped with flexible automated lines and AGV logistics systems, it focuses on large-scale production of humanoid care robots and exoskeleton rehabilitation robots, with an annual capacity of 1,200 units (over 2,000 monthly at full capacity). Leveraging 80% local supply chain coverage, its products cost 25%-30% less than industry average while meeting automotive-grade reliability standards.

Full-Scenario Ecosystem: Empowering Quality Aging

Wandechang’s product ecosystem covers home, community, and institutional care, addressing China’s elderly care worker shortage. Flagship PCR autonomous mobility robot 3.0 boasts 0.1mm obstacle detection and <0.3-second avoidance, achieving 98% safety satisfaction. The exoskeleton rehabilitation robot (gait consistency error <3%) meets international standard IEC63310, benefiting mobility-impaired users.

Powered by its WDC-Brain IoT system, Wandechang has transformed into a "smart elderly care ecosystem service provider" offering integrated solutions. With a Japan branch and products in 30+ countries, it achieved 215 million yuan (≈29.5 million US dollars) in 2024 revenue, emerging as a benchmark for China’s elderly care tech going global.

Strategic Cooperation: Accelerating Global Leadership

Post ribbon-cutting, Wandechang signed agreements with leading industry partners and renowned regional agents, demonstrating strong market appeal and laying groundwork for its goal of "becoming a pioneer listed company in smart elderly care".

Zou Yuanhua, Wandechang’s Chairman, stated Heshan’s superior business environment fuels the base’s milestone significance. He pledged to seize the national "2025-2027 Smart Elderly Care Robots Pilot Program" opportunity, deepen specialized innovation, and make intelligent technology accessible to all seniors, striving to become a global industry benchmark.

The Heshan base strengthens Wandechang’s Greater Bay Area layout, leverages Jiangmen’s "Overseas Chinese Hometown" advantage to activate overseas Chinese-invested elderly care markets, and offers a "Greater Bay Area solution" to global aging challenges. Government-enterprise collaboration is accelerating a blueprint for intelligent manufacturing and public well-being.
